To add to a long list of awards in 2022 Artisan Vinegar Company had 2 product finalists in the Great British Food Awards, and picked up 3 separate 2022 Great Taste Awards.

The Great Taste Awards are the UK's best-known and most prestigious fine-food awards. We are proud to say that the Artisan Vinegar Company has picked up three separate medals in the 2024 awards.

Our flagship Artisan Malt Vinegar has picked up a 2024 award to add to its long list of achievements. In addition Artisan Raspberry Vinegar and Artisan Blackberry Vinegar have won 2024 awards. This year's accomplishment means that Artisan Vinegar Company has been a Great Taste Award winner in each of the last 5 years.

Artisan Raspberry Vinegar starts life as 100% whole raspberries. We take the pure juice and ferment it into an intense raspberry wine, which then goes through a slow, natural process transforming the raspberry wine into Artisan Raspberry Vinegar. It is then barrel-matured until smooth and tangy.

Artisan Cider Vinegar is made from traditional Cornish apples. We squeeze the pure juice and ferment it into a strong dry cider, which then goes through a slow, natural process transforming the cider into Artisan Cider Vinegar. It is then oak-matured until smooth and woody.

Artisan Honey Vinegar is made from 100% whole Cornish wildflower honey. We brew that into a powerful, fragrant mead (honey wine) and then transform the mead into Artisan Honey Vinegar. It is then sweetened with some of the same raw wildflower honey, and barrel matured.

Like all our fruit vinegars Artisan Blackberry Vinegar is made from 100% whole fruit and is sold live (with ‘the Mother’), raw, unpasteurised, drawn straight from the barrel.

'Kea' plums are a traditional Cornish variety of damson. Artisan Damson & Sloe Vinegar is a sour, tangy vinegar made from Kea damson plums and wild sloes.

Strawberries make a surprisingly sharp, acidic vinegar. To balance that we sweeten the finished vinegar a touch and infuse with additional whole-fruit strawberries.
